Bucked by a Minotaur

Suburban Cowboy is at work on a new show.  Just as "The Tragedy of Icarus" was rooted in Greek theatre style and conventions, so is this new as of yet untitled show. It features an actor, lost in a labyrinth that he himself created. Is it a real labyrinth or just a metaphor? Along his journey, the actor seeks help from an oracle who helps the actor figure out who he is so he is able to battle a Minotaur and destroy the labyrinth for good. The show is once again a musical. Songs include "Bring Me Back," "Freud," "Life in the Theatre," "The Architect," "Dionysus," and "Bucked by a Minotaur" which is also the title of the show. An Actual script has not been written yet but the songs are in very good shape. I'm not sure if this is a one man show or will need more actors. I will keep posting new information as it comes.

The Architect

Well, many things have changed since the last post. The name of my show is now called "The Architect" and I think I'm going to go it alone again. As in one man musical. My instrument this time will be a Mandolin. The show is influenced by Plato, Elvis, Greek Myth, Greek Theatre, The Bible, Bluegrass and probably a lot of other stuff that I can't think of right now. I'm going to try to get it into the fringe festival this summer. If I make in, see you there. Otherwise I'll be doing it your backyard.
