Suburban Cowboy Production's Mission Statement

Suburban Cowboy productions is a company dedicated to pursuing Americana themes in personal and intimate theatrical settings. Started in 2009 by actor and musician Joshua Caleb Larson, the purpose of the company was a place to go create and work when the job climate of the acting profession was sparse. "The Tragedy of Icarus" is the company's first production with the hopes of many more to come.

Hi Joshua
I'm posting a comment here and on the musical dad blog because I was getting bounced back from your email account, saying it was full.

I'm a blogger on the Fringe for the Twin Cities Daily Planet

I wanted to learn a little more about your show, beyond what's on the Fringe site and in your blog. Anything you'd care to share would be welcome. I plan on seeing the show early in the run and wanted to write a little about it in advance.

You can email mail@matthewaeverett, and just to be safe, copy to browder268@yahoo.com

Thanks

If you have lost a loved one through a death that is difficult to make sense of, then prepare yourself to feel that grief once again but learn from Josh Larson's full arc of grief. Through his impressive talents as writer, actor, and singer, this performance exhibits the raw courage requisite to be an artist. Through characters and song, drama and comedy, he takes us along on his journey to make some sense of the death of a older brother, who has lived his life immune to danger. It's a poignant performance for anyone who can relate through personal experience and it serves as a preparatory story for anyone who has fortunately dodged the seemingly senseless loss of a loved one. -JT
